I am thrilled to join the faculty at Pattillo Middle School as the Music Director, and look forward to sharing the gift of music with our wonderful students. I believe that music allows the kids to express themselves and explore their creativity, while also paving the way for developing skills in teamwork, problem solving, and reaching high goals.

I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University, and Master of Music degree from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston. Before moving to North Carolina, I was a private lesson instructor of trombone and other low-brass instruments in Texas. I enjoyed helping my students grow as young musicians and individuals, and I am looking forward to helping every student that comes through my room to reach the highest potential. Outside of teaching, music has afforded me many performance opportunities in orchestral, band, jazz, chamber, and musical theater and opera settings.

When I am not teaching our kids or practicing, I enjoy playing disc golf, doing lawncare, and spending time with my fiancee and our three cats.
